8. Other Matters to Note
y When moving the machine, be sure to hold the machine while paying attention to the entire
balance instead of holding the paper tray or the upper part of the stand only.
y Do not apply a strong force, such as pushing or pulling, to the paper tray. Doing so might
damage it.
y “OFF” and “Foot” on the power switch are in the same position when it is just switched, but
in case “Foot” operation is set, the machine operates when the Foot switch is stepped on.
Be careful about these conditions.
y Do not place heavy objects on the machine. The object may fall, causing a bodily injury.
y Since loosening is made by blowing air, dust or the like may get in the user’s eyes. It is
recommended that safety glasses, etc., be worn when operating this machine.
