STEP 5. If not using all the feed belts, slide one or more of the belts outward toward the
edge of the feeder.
If you are not using ALL the feed belts, you will need to position one or more of the belts
outboard of one or both of the paper guides. To do this, loosen the paper guide locking lever,
raise the paper guide up approximately ½” and slide OVER the belts.
STEP 6. Turn feeder off, and place a single document on the belts in the center of the
feeder. Then slide the paper guides into position adjacent the document and lock them
into place with the locking levers.
