Setting the Operation Mode of the Server
To set the operation mode (personality) of the server:

From the main menu, highlight Set personality of the Sentriant AG.
A warning message is displayed.

Select Yes to display the personality selection menu.

Highlight the appropriate server type (Management Server, Enforcement Server, or Combination
Server) and press the space bar.
A confirmation dialog box is displayed.

If the displayed server type is correct, select Yes. The screen indicates that services restart
immediately; then the main menu is displayed.
If the displayed server type is not correct, select No. The system returns to the previous menu.
After you select a server type as the mode of operation, you must configure specific parameters for each
type of operation. For instructions on configuring these parameters, refer to Chapter 3, “System
Configuration,” in the Sentriant AG Software User’s Guide.
