KARRERA — Installation & Service Manual

Section 5 — Basic Configuration

The default name for every Karrera Video Processor Frame is

SystemA

, and

this works well when only one system is present on the network. However,
if more than one Karrera system with the default name is present, all the
Frames and Control Panels will be grouped under that name.

If you have more than one Karrera system, be sure to change the name of
the Video Processor Frames so you can identify them easily. When each
Frame has a unique name, the Control Panels configured with each Frame
will be grouped with that system name.

The name of a Karrera Video Processor Frame (and Karrera system name)
can be changed in several ways. Once changed by any method, any prop-
erly refreshed user display will report that changed name. The Video Pro-
cessor Frame name can be changed with:

GV Switcher Installer Program,

Video Processor Frame web page,

Karrera Menu Application Frame Suite Nodes & ID Menu, and

NetConfig.

Set IP Procedure Using GV Installer Program
