Section 3 — Controls & Menus

Last Menu

The

[Last Menu]

top menu button does not display a menu of its

own. Instead it brings up the last menu, the menu you had been
viewing before the current menu.

Misc Menu

Press the

[Misc]

top menu button to display the Miscellaneous

menu shown in Figure 3-52.

[CLEAR WORK BUFFER]

—Clears button and knob settings and

returns them to their default state. The working buffer is the area
where the current panel setup is stored.

[CLEAR DP RAM]

—Completely clears the dual-port RAM, which is

the memory where the working buffer and E-MEM data reside.
This clear function erases all E-MEM registers.

[FACTORY RESET]

—Clears all configuration, input mapping,

E-MEM, and current working buffer data and resets the system to
the state it was in when shipped from the factory.

[CONFIRM]

, [CANCEL] —Whenever you select [CLEAR DP RAM] or

[FACTORY RESET]

, a dialog box appears asking you to confirm or

cancel the clear/reset. To continue with the clear/reset, press the
[CONFIRM]

soft button. To cancel the clear/reset, press the

[CANCEL]

soft button. This dialog protects you from accidentally

erasing your E-MEM registers and configurations.

(LAMPSAVER DELAY)

—Allows you to set the number of minutes

that the switcher may be idle before the control panel lamps and
displays turn off. LampSaver mode reduces lamp burnout by
allowing the panel to “sleep” when not in use.
