set policy profile

Use this command to create a policy profile entry.

set policy profile profile-index {[enable | disable] [name enable | disable vlan-id
enable | disable cos]}

Syntax Description

Command Defaults

None.

Command Type

Switch command.

Command Mode

Read-Write.

profile-index

Specifies an index number for the profile entry. Valid
values are 1 to 65535.

enable | disable

Enables or disables the profile entry.

name

Specifies a name for the entry.

enable | disable
vlan-id

Enables or disables port VLAN ID (PVID) override for this
profile with the specified vlan-id. Valid values and their
corresponding actions are:

4095: classifies all traffic to an 802.1Q PVID and
permits it to forward. PVID must be assigned to this
policy profile with the set policy port command as
described in

Section 8.3.3.2

.

0: denies and discards all untagged traffic.

1: classifies all traffic to the default VLAN.

2 - 4094: classifies all traffic to the specified VLAN.

enable | disable
cos

Enables or disables Class of Service override for this
profile with the specified class. Valid values are 0 to 7.
