7. Cleaning

Warning!
– Pull out the mains plug before

cleaning the appliance.

– Always allow the appliance to

cool down before cleaning. The
lid 2 can take up to 45 minutes
to cool to a lukewarm
temperature, as the terracotta it is
made from retains heat very well.

– Never immerse the mains cable

and the bottom section 1 in
liquids.

Caution! Never use caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents, as they could damage your
appliance.
Caution! The individual components of the
pizza oven are not suitable for dishwashers.

1. Clean the cutting form 8, the peels 9

and the baking plate 7 by hand in
soapy water.

2. The lid 2 does not usually require

cleaning. If it becomes dirty, clean it in
clear, warm water with a soft brush.

3. Clean the bottom section 1 with a damp

cloth or a soft, damp sponge. You may
also use a little detergent in order to help
remove fatty deposits.

4. Do not use the appliance again until all

components have completely dried.
Caution! If the appliance is to stored
for a long period after cleaning, lightly
oil the baking plate 7 to prevent the
build-up of rust.

8. Disposal

8.1 Appliance

The symbol showing the
wheelie bin with a cross
through it means that that
product must be handed in for
the separated collection of
waste in the European Union.

This applies to the product and all
accessories that are marked with this
symbol. Products marked like this may not

be disposed of in normal domestic waste but
must be handed in at a collection point for
the recycling of electric and electronic
appliances. Recycling helps to reduce the
consumption of raw materials and hence is
better for the environment. You can obtain
information about disposal and the location
of your nearest recycling centre from your
local waste management service, for
example, or Yellow Pages.
