8. Cleaning

Clean the device prior to its first use!

DANGER! Risk of electric
shock!

~ Pull the mains plug14 out the wall

socket before cleaning the food proces-
sor.

~ The motor block15, the power cable

and the mains plug14 must not be im-
mersed in water or any other liquids.

DANGER! Risk of injury from
cutting!

When washing manually, the water should
be sufficiently clear that you can see the
blades4,5 and8 easily.
WARNING! Risk of material damage!
Do not use any astringent or abrasive clean-
ing agents.

Dismantling the device

1. Pull out the mains plug14.
2. Turn the bowl11 anti-clockwise, until

the symbol

16 points to the bottom

marking on the bowl12.

3. Hold the bowl11 tightly. Turn the lid3

anti-clockwise, until the symbol

points to the top marking on the
bowl10. Remove the lid.

4. Carefully remove the dough blade7,

the blade insert8 or the insert holder6
with attached slicing insert4 / grating
disk5. Remove the drive axle9.

5. Figure F: turn the insert holder6

around and hold it over a washable,
scratch-proof surface. Press the extending
edges of the slicing insert4 / grating
disk5 inwards and press it out.

How to clean properly

1. If necessary, wipe down the motor

block15 and the power cable14 with
a damp cloth. Ensure that the motor
block15 is completely dry before the
next time it is used.

2. All parts except for the motor block15

are dishwasher-safe up to 70 °C.

3. Allow all parts to dry completely before

you put them away or use the device
again.

Some cleaning tips

• Clean the device as soon as possible af-

ter use in order to prevent food rem-
nants from drying on.

• After processing very salty or acidic

foodstuffs, the dough blade7 / blade
insert8, the insert holder6 and the slic-
ing insert4 / grating disk5 should be
washed thoroughly and right away.

9. Storage

DANGER for children! Keep the
device out of the reach of children.

DANGER! In order to avoid accidents, the
mains plug14 must never be connected to a
wall socket while in storage.

• Assemble the food processor for stor-

age. This allows the blade insert8 to be
stored safely.

• Select a location where neither high

temperatures nor moisture can affect the
device.
