Calibration of CAT 2 System

1. Start X-Plane

2. Now move the mouse all the way to the top and from the menu bar, choose Settings.

3. From the Settings, choose Joystick & Equipment, and then choose Center.

1.8.1 Trim Calibration:

Caution: If you do not have aileron trim and anti-ice switch, skip steps 19 to 24 and proceed

to step 25.

4. Make sure the Aileron Trim is turned all the way to the left and click on Set Left on Ail Trim

5. Make sure the Aileron Trim is turned all the way to the Right and click on Set Right on Ail Trim

6. Now make sure that the Aileron Trim is Centered and click on Set Center

7. Make sure the Rudder Trim is turned all the way to the Left and click on Set Left on Rud Trim

8. Make sure the Rudder Trim is turned all the way to the Right and click on Set Right on Rud Trim

9. Now make sure that the Rudder Trim is Centered and click on Set Center on Rud Trim

1.8.2 Power Quadrant Calibration:

10. Make sure a lever is installed on the console. A 6-lever or twin-prop is preferred for calibration

purposes, if you do not have one you can use what you have.

11. Push all the levers full forward.

12. Click on SET MAX on Throt1, Throt2, Throt3, Throt4, Throt5, and Throt6.

13. Pull the levers all the way to aft position or bottom

14. Click on SET MIN on Throt1, Throt2, Throt3, Throt4, Throt5, and Throt6.

1.8.3 Aileron Calibration:

15. Now turn and hold your yoke all the way to the Left and click on Set Left on roll.

16. Now turn and hold your yoke all the way to the Right and click on Set Right on Roll.

17. Center the yoke now and click on Set Center on Roll.
