Server Commands
Define Server Name
Define the printer server’s node name.
>
Server>> define server name prnsvr_nam
prnsvr_nam Enter a 1 to 16 character name for the printer
server. This must be established with the
Define command when any sessions are active.
Any alphanumeric character is valid.
The printer server’s node name is used in certain commands and by host-
initiated connections. The name must be different from all other node
names on the same local network if the printer server accepts host-
initiated connections or offers services.
Show Alarms
Show console error conditions.
>
Server>> show server alarms
This command displays the number of nonfatal console errors that have
occurred since the printer server was last booted, and the times and error
numbers of the sixteen most recent errors.
