LCD supply voltage – LK8 on JP2
This jumper selects the supply voltage for the LCD logic supply.
LK8 Description
Supply LCD logic with 5V.
Supply LCD logic with 3.3V.
If the LCD requires a 5V supply, please refer to the LCD datasheet to ensure
that the display is compatible with 3.3V logic.
Battery jumper – LK9 on JP4
This jumper connects the battery to the battery back-up circuit.
LK9 Description
Battery is connected to the board
circuit.
Battery is disconnected from board
circuit
The battery is disconnected when board is shipped. If battery back up is
required, jumper LK9 must be fitted to JP4 before installation of the VIPER.
