3.6 MAC Filter
With a Pure Bridge connection only, you can use the MAC Filter
page of your Configuration Manager as a method of limiting
Internet access. This option lets you configure up to 20 source
MAC address rules for filtering packets going out from the LAN.
To locate a MAC address see page 77.
Make the following entries:
Discard
Unmatched
Frames?
Lets you set a default condition for Ethernet
packets (frames) that do not match any of the
rules in the table. Packets can be either
processed as normal or discarded.
Enable Lets you enable or disable a rule.
MAC address The MAC address to be matched in the source
address field of the outgoing Ethernet packet.
