Chapter 3: Installation
Install Power Cord Strain Relief (AC only)
NOTE: Instructions for using the Power Cord Strain Relief for DC power are included in the previous two
sections.
The Strain Relief Mount enables you to connect the power cord strain relief to the unit. A power cord strain
relief is a plastic device designed to avoid accidental power down of the Tenor CMS (i.e., if the power cord is
accidentally pulled, the strain relief will relieve pressure put on the cord.)
Install the strain relief as follows:
1. Loop the strain relief’s long plastic piece around the power cord and insert the end of the plastic rivet
through the hole at the opposite end (to create a “clamp”). See Figure 3-16.

2. Push the rivet into the Strain Relief Mount at the rear of the unit. See Figure 3-17.
