Your new ‘64 Vibroverb™ Custom amplifier is a modern
interpretation of a Fender
®
legend. With this amp,
guitarists can enjoy the original Blackface™ Fender
tones heard on countless Country, Jazz and Rock
recordings. Then, with the flip of a couple of switches,
“modify” the amp to create cranked-up tones bristling
with sustain and harmonics. These Vibroverb
modifications were perfected by César Diaz, world
famous “Amp Doctor,” who worked closely with Fender
during the inception of this new model. Original 1964
Vibroverbs are hard–to–find collectables, and are
particularly prized by players who enjoy the “Texas
Blues” style. Your brand new Vibroverb will allow you to
put a fresh spin on a classic theme.

NORMAL CHANNEL
A. NORMAL INPUT 1 - Plug-in connection for most
instruments.
B. NORMAL INPUT 2 - Plug-in connection for high
output or pre-amplified instruments. Provides 6dB
less gain than input 1.
C. BRIGHTNESS SWITCH - Boosts high-frequency
response. Most effective at low volume, the boost
tapers off as the VOLUME setting increases.
D. NORMAL CHANNEL VOLUME - Adjusts the
loudness of the amplifier.
E. TREBLE - Adjusts the high-frequency tone.
F. BASS - Adjusts the low-frequency tone.
VIBRATO CHANNEL
G. VIBRATO INPUT 1 - Plug in connection for most
instruments.
H. VIBRATO INPUT 2 - Plug in connection for high
output or pre-amplified instruments. Provides 6dB
less gain than input 1.
I. BRIGHTNESS SWITCH - Boosts high-frequency
response. Most effective at low volume, the boost

J. VIBRATO CHANNEL VOLUME - Adjusts the

M. REVERB - Adjusts the Reverb level. Reverb can be
toggled ON/OFF from the footswitch.
N. VIBRATO SPEED - Adjusts the rate of volume
variation. Plug in the footswitch, toggle VIBRATO
ON to activate, see FOOTSWITCH {X}.
O. VIBRATO INTENSITY - Adjusts the depth of volume
variation. Plug in the footswitch, toggle VIBRATO
ON to activate, see FOOTSWITCH {X}.
P. PILOT LAMP - Illuminates when the amp is powered
ON. Unscrew the red jeweled cover to access the
bulb (type T47) for replacement.

/Groove Tubes™ GT-6L6 GE
The output tubes in your new Vibroverb
amplifier are performance matched
and labeled as a color-coded pair. When
replacing these tubes, we recommend selecting
new tubes that have the same red, white or blue
color labels as the originals. Otherwise, tube
bias may need adjustment.
