Lubrication

your lathe has numerous moving metal-to-metal
contacts that require proper lubrication to help
ensure efficient and long-lasting operation.

other than lubrication points covered in this sec-
tion, all other bearings are internally lubricated
and sealed at the factory. simply leave them
alone unless they need to be replaced.

Before adding lubricant, clean away any debris
and grime from the lubrication point to avoid con-
taminating the lubricant and increasing wear of
the moving parts.
