This adored member of the Marantz Premium Range is packed with advanced technologies to give you the best in
detail, precision, and emotion. Thanks to the shielded Toroidal transformer and customised components, it offers
ultra-stable power output at 2 x 100 W into 8 Ohms or 2 x 200 W into 4 Ohms. Absolute signal integrity and very low
signal-to-noise ratio is guaranteed via the 3-stage construction which includes a pre-amplifier and a dual stage
main-amplifier, as well an extra pre-amplifier for Phono MM/MC. Key technologies include the latest Marantz
Current Feedback HDAM-SA3, symmetrical circuitry with the shortest signal paths to deliver dynamic sound and
perfect stereo imaging. The result is an unbelievably wide sound stage, but with extremely precise positioning of
instruments and vocals. In addition, the chassis and rear panel are copper-plated to guarantee low impedance

The PM15S2 uses the latest generation of Marantz-own HDAM modules, as well as a top-down version of the
PM11S2’s Constant Current Feedback MM/MC phono stage, which vinyl fans will simply fall in love with. The
powerful Toroidal transformer delivers exceptionally high current values to instantaneously follow every dynamic
and every detail of the music, while an additional CD direct input buffer ensures a completely unadulterated audio
signal. In addition, the symmetrical circuit architecture, with system block shielding and independent left and right
heat sinks, eliminates cross-channel interference for the clearest, most ‘visible’ of sound stages. One of the unit’s
many convenience innovations is the special Power Amp Direct Mode, enabling you to use the PM15S2 as a pure
power amplifier – useful when combining a high-quality AV System with an audiophile stereo set-up. Also, with
rigid double layer chassis, aluminium front and side panels, and an additional bottom plate to minimise external
noise, the PM15S2 is as solid as it gets. It all adds up to an extraordinarily high-quality stereo sound.
