Once again, Marantz engineers have used the successful technologies of the Reference Series to create an
equivalent in the Premium Range. This time technologies from the SA7S1 have been applied to create the new
SA11S2. Most notably, the latest digital filtering parameters are nowused to create reference-quality playback –
making standard CDs sound like SACDs. The new die-cast mechanism is also derived from the SA7S1, to guarantee
crystal-clear data readout. While the 5 mm thick aluminium-top lid and aluminium die-cast feet add reference-
quality stability. Marantz engineers also added the digital phase inversion and the external clock input, providing
additional fine-tuning and upgrade options. The result? Sustained signal integrity, original sound stage
reproduction, unsurpassed rhythmic intensity, and a quality of dynamics and pacemore usually associated with the
recording studio.

The oversized Toroidal transformer inside the SA-15S2 generates the cleanest of power deliveries to eliminate
component cross-contamination, while the highly-acclaimed Marantz Xyron mechanism, with solid aluminium
housing, supports MP3 and WMA playback – without, of course, affecting its CD and SACD sound quality. The
advanced Cirrus Logic bitstream CS4398 DAC heightens analogue performance and provides a choice of different
digital filters. In addition, the analogue output stage makes use of the HDAM-SA2 module and selected
components, and the headphone stage is equipped with a high-speed current buffer amp making it insensitive to the
headphone when connected: hence noise is minimised and audio quality maximised. Another major benefit is the
digital input, enabling you to connect a music server or a network audio client to take advantage of the high-quality
