This stereo SACD and CD player underlines the Marantz heritage for high quality two channel audio reproduction. It
faithfully reproduces a wide sound stage with no extra or missing information, thanks to the faster, low-noise and
lower impedance symmetrical circuits with high quality parts. The loading mechanism is made from a new material
called Xyron, which has very high rigidity and resonance-damping characteristics. Its reduced distortion spectrum
enables you to listen to SACDs with the sonic excellence you’ve come to expect from this player. It can even replay
compressed audio formats such as MP3 and WMA in high quality. The headphone amplifier and gold-plated outputs

Developed as successor for the highly popular and What Hi-Fi? Award winner CD6002, this new CD6003 offers
everything a dedicated music lover desires: wide dynamic range, clear detail reproduction, and excellent staging.
The solid chassis is further strengthened by an additional metal bottom-plate, which further reduces unwanted
vibration and makes the CD6003 a real ‘heavyweight fighter’. The mechanism is centrally installed and the USB
input is derived from the SA8003 and features an iPod digital connection. The stable, oversized power supply feeds
the digital and analogue circuitry of the player, where the high quality CS4398 converts digital signals into
analogue, which is then ‘pushed’ to the gold-plated cinch outputs by Marantz’s own small signal amplifier, the
HDAM-SA2. Altogether the CD6003 is a match made in heaven for the music lover who wants nothing but the best
performance at an attractive price.

The CD5004 plays CD, CD-R and CD-RW discs as well as MP3 and WMA files. And perhaps more importantly, it
helps reproduce high-quality audio. That’s because it incorporates high-quality audio components such as the
famous CS4392 DAC as well as the Marantz-own HDAM-SA2. It also includes customised components for sound
tuning and a reliable CD transport mechanism. The Audio EX(clusive) mode further enhances sound quality by
switching off functions, such as digital output and pitch control that are not in use. The Auto Music Scan (AMS)
quickly finds the music on the disc and the Quick Replay function repeats favourite passages. In addition, high-grade
gold-plated analogue outputs guarantee best connectivity. A well-defined headphone output, an easy to read
display, and a remote control rounds off this excellent player.

With a five-disc carousel, fully programmable playback mode as well as random, repeat and scan modes, the
CC4003 CD changer provides endless combinations of non-stop music. Its multi-read drive plays not only CDs but
also CD-R/RWs with MP3 or WMA files. For the analogue output, the internal high quality CS4392 D/A converter
guarantees superb sound quality. Coaxial digital and optical outputs are provided for digital connection. There’s also
a headphone output with adjustable volume, and the dedicated remote controller provides direct disc access, while
the metal chassis and solid metal front panel provide a rigid base for high quality performance. The Marantz D-Bus
system and a built-in RS232C port with discrete coding provide an open architecture for enhanced system control.
