This full discrete current feedback integrated amplifier is perfect for audiophiles wanting both excellent music
quality and flexible operation. It offers a powerful 2 x 70 W into 8 Ohms, while the symmetrical circuits ensure
perfect image balancing. To guarantee best sound quality the PM7004 includes high-grade audio components,
current feedback HDAMs, and a high-speed instantaneous current supply. Also included is a highly useful new
Tri-Tone Control system – this enables you to adjust not only Bass and Treble, but also the Mids. It is perfect for
optimising the sound quality of compressed files such as MP3, by providing much finer adaptation steps. It is also
useful to partly correct your room acoustics. All this is possible, but of course you can simply use the PM7004 in
source-direct mode for the purest audio signal and enjoy your vinyls via Phono (MM) input.

The PM6003 replaces the much-praised PM6002, the last amplifier to be upgraded to the new M1 Reference Design
style. But it’s not just the outward aesthetics that have been improved; Marantz took this upgrade opportunity to
further improve this already excellent amp by refining the sound and optimising the balance from bass to mid to
highs for a performance full of harmony. The new lower impedance Toroidal transformer shielded with case, was
also matched to the new main capacitors, which again have been aligned to the new type of power transistor,
mounted on a new extruded aluminium head sink, capable of handling higher currents and keeping closer control of
the speaker. And of course all of the original features - such as six-line audio input including Phono, two-pairs of
gold-plated speaker connection with the convenience of bi-wiring and a remote handset – are still available.

This excellent entry-level integrated amp breaks all the rules. That’s because it’s the first in its class to offer
current feedback architecture – a feature that until now has been exclusive to the much more expensive models.
This technology provides very fast and accurate signal handling which results in perfectly balanced stereo sound
reproduction and a very open and precise sound stage. Offering 40 W per channel into 8 Ohms or 55 W into 4 Ohms,
this amp includes a metal chassis and front metal panel to ensure a very rigid and solid base. It also offers
customised components for sound tuning, a phono MM equaliser, as well as Source Direct functionality to ensure
shortest signal paths. Without doubt, the PM5004 has raised the performance bar in the so-called entry level area.
