Note: Cool Down Mode
After projection, the hot lamp goes through a
60-second cool-down process known as ‘cool
down mode’. This mode is designed to prevent
damage and deformation that heat from the
heated lamp may cause to the internal com-
ponents of the projector. It also minimises the
chance of lamp breakage and shortened lamp
life.

The cool down mode is indicated by the blink-
ing

Standby indicator. When in the cool down

mode, the

OPERATE ON button is disabled.

After the cool down process is completed,
the unit will automatically switch into standby
mode.

CAUTION:
When in the cool-down mode, do not pull out
the plug from the power socket. Also, do not
block the air inlets/ exhaust vents by standing
this unit on its end or laying it on its side.

Lamp replacement
The timing and procedure for lamp replace-
ment is discussed on page 27 et seq.

Indicator Display Table
The projector employs different patterns of indicator illumination to indicate its various operational
states, as shown by the tables below.
