If you selected a Supplemental User-Programmable option from Decode UPC/EAN Supplementals on page 10-30 ,
select User-Programmable Supplemental 1 to set the 3-digit prefix. Then select the 3 digits using the numeric
bar codes beginning on
page 10-111. Select User-Programmable Supplemental 2 to set a second 3-digit prefix.
Then select the 3 digits using the numeric bar codes beginning on page 10-111.

Decode UPC/EAN Supplemental Redundancy

With Autodiscriminate UPC/EAN Supplementals selected, this option adjusts the number of times (from 2 to 30) a
symbol without supplementals is decoded before transmission. Five or above is recommended when decoding a
mix of UPC/EAN symbols with and without supplementals, and the autodiscriminate option is selected.
Scan the bar code below to select a decode redundancy value. Next scan two numeric bar codes beginning on
page 10-111 . Enter a leading zero for single digit numbers. To change the selection or to cancel an incorrect entry,
scan the Cancel bar code on page 10-113 .
