Inserting images or sounds in a
text message
The options are:
u 15 images (icons)
u 10 sounds
You are writing a text message (page 17).
The cursor is at the correct position.

q Select the object you wish to
insert and press §OK§ .
The selected object is inserted.
Draft message list
You can store a message in the draft mes-
sage list, edit it later and send it.
Storing messages in the draft message list
You are writing a text message (page 17).

Open the draft message list

The first entry in the list is shown, e.g.:
01/02: No. 1 of a total of 2 messages
Reading or deleting messages

Open the draft message list.
q Select a message.
§Menu§ Read SMS
Select Read SMS and press §OK§
to read the message. Scroll
through the message with q.
Or:
§Menu§ Delete Entry
Select Delete Entry and press
§OK§ to delete the message.
Writing/editing messages
You read a message in the draft messages
list.
§Menu§ Press the control key.
You can choose one of the following:
Write Message
Write a new message and then send or
(page 17) store it.
Use text
Edit the text of the stored message,
then send it (page 17).
Character Set
The text is displayed in the selected
character set.
Deleting the draft messages list

Open the draft message list.
§Menu§ Delete List
Select Delete List and press §OK§ .
§OK§ Press the control key to con-
firm the delete. The list is
deleted.

Sending an SMS to an email address
If your service provider supports the 'SMS
to email' service, then you can also send
your text messages to email addresses.
The email address must be at the start of
the text. You must send the message to
the email service of your SMS send centre.

~ Enter the email address. End it
with a space or colon (depend-
ing on the service provider).
~ Enter the message.
§Menu§ Send Text
Select Send Text and press §OK§ .
§Menu§ Message Type: E-Mail
Select Message Type: E-Mail and
press §OK§ .
~ If necessary, enter the number
of the email service and
press §OK§ .
The message is sent.
