Additional Information

, The protective device on the system has been

activated because of a short circuit. Turn off the
system, eliminate the short-circuit problem and
turn on the power again.

, The audio connecting cord is damaged. Replace it

with a new one.

, The system is in pause mode or in Slow-motion

Play mode. Press H or N on the remote to
return to normal play mode.

, Fast forward or fast reverse is performed. Press

or N to return to normal play mode.

The left and right sounds are unbalanced or

Operation

There is noise inside the system.

, It is not an error. You may hear noise of the DVD

changer when replacing discs or turning on/ off
the system.

The disc tray indicator is on when there is no disc
inside.

, If this is the first time you are using the system, the

disc tray indicators turn on. Press FUNCTION
until “DVD” appears on the front panel, then wait
a while. The indicators will turn off eventually.

, If you pressed the ?/1 switch to turn off the

system without closing the disc tray, the disc tray
indicator turns on. Wait a while for it to turn off. If
the indicator is still on, press A of DISC 1–DISC 5
to close the disc tray.

Radio stations cannot be tuned in.

, Check that the antennas are connected securely.

Adjust the antennas and connect an external
antenna if necessary.

, The signal strength of the stations is too weak

(when tuning in with automatic tuning). Use
direct tuning.

, No stations have been preset or the preset stations

have been cleared (when tuning by scanning preset
stations). Preset the stations (page 19).

, Press DISPLAY until the frequency appears in the

display.
