Dial the extension to which you want your calls 
forwarded. For all-condition forwarding (# 9 1, 
# 9 2, # 9 3), you can dial 9 and an outside num-
ber as your forwarding target.
If your telephone has a FORWARD key, the 
FORWARD status light turns on to 
indicate that Variable Forwarding is active for 
your extension. If you have a display telephone, 
STORED is displayed, followed by the option 
you chose and the number to which your calls 
are forwarded.
You will hear the confirmation tone.

Hang up. Your primary line key status light 
flickers.
Note
A call made from your Variable Forwarding target to 
your extension will always ring through.
You can only forward calls to an outside number if 
your telephone has been assigned a special class of 
service.
To cancel 
Variable 
Forwarding

Press the FORWARD key. Your primary line 
key status light and the FORWARD status light 
turns off. If you have a display telephone, the 
forwarding option and the number to which 
your telephone was previously forwarded is 
displayed, followed by OFF.
