Press (+) or (–) to adjust the volume.
After three seconds, the display goes back
to the normal playback mode.

Adjusting the turn-over frequency

You can adjust the bass and treble turn-over
frequencies.

Press (SOURCE) to select a source (radio,
CD or MD).

Press (SOUND) for two seconds.

Press (SOUND) repeatedly until “BAS” or
“TRE” appears.

Press (+) or (–) to select the turn-over
frequency.
The turn-over frequencies change as
follows:

Bass:

198 Hz n 250 Hz n 314 Hz* n 396 Hz

Treble:

2.0 kHz n 3.1 kHz* n 4.0 kHz n 5.0 kHz

Press (SOUND) for two seconds.

The display goes back to the normal
playback mode.

Listening to each program
source in its registered
surround menu

— Source Sound Memory

You can listen to the same source always in the
same surround menu even after changing the
program source or turning the unit on and off
again.

Note
If the optional TV tuner is connected “LSM” (Last Sound
Memory) appears on the TV display.

Press (SHIFT), then press (2) (SET UP)
until “L.OUT” appears.

Press (4) (n) to select the desired
setting (–10 dB or –16 dB).
