Using a handset in Walky-Talky
mode as a room monitor

This function allows you to use the Walky-

Talky mode as a room monitor. The room

monitor will then call all handsets that are

in Walky-Talky mode as soon as the previ-

ously set noise level has been reached.
During the call, all keys are locked except

the end call key. The room monitor

function remains active after you end the

call. It must be activated again if the hand-

set has been switched off.

Handset settings

Your handset is preconfigured, but you

can change the settings to suit your indi-

vidual requirements.

Shortcuts for functions
and numbers

You can assign the left display key and the

digit keys

Q and 2 to O with a

number or a function each.
The number is then dialled or the function

started by simply pressing a key.

Note:

You should always check the operation

of the room monitor before use. Always

check e.g. the sensitivity and phone line.

– The active room monitor function consider-

ably reduces the operating time of the

handset. Place the handset in the charging

cradle if necessary. This ensures that the

battery does not discharge.

– The handset should be positioned 1 to

2 meters away from the baby. The micro-

phone must be directed towards the baby.

– Please note that the Walky-Talky function's

room monitor does not provide optimum

security.
