Note: Due to different specifications and features of other Bluetooth-compatible
devices, display and operations may be different, and functions such as transfer or
exchange may not be possible with all Bluetooth-compatible devices.

Waiting for Pairing from an External Device

If you are going to be using a Personal Area Network (PAN) profile to pair with a
computer or PDA, you will need to allow the other device to initiate pairing with
your phone.

To allow your phone to be paired with another Bluetooth device:

1.

Make sure your Bluetooth feature is active and your device is visible.
See "Using the Bluetooth Settings Menu" on page 97.

2.

From the Confirm screen, press Yes (left softkey) to accept the
connection from the external Bluetooth device.

3.

Enter the passcode (the same one used by the initiating device) in the
passcode field and press Next (left softkey).

Note: Although your device can connect to any Bluetooth-compatible device, only
two connections can be made at a time. If an incoming pairing request is rejected,
you might need to disable pairing with another device.

To inactivate Bluetooth devices in your list:

1.

Press the Power button, select Wireless Manager and press

.

2.

Highlight the Bluetooth field and press Menu (right softkey) >
Bluetooth Settings
.

3.

Highlight an entry from the list, press

and press Next (left softkey).

4.

Uncheck boxes for Services options by highlighting an option and
pressing .

5.

Press Done (left softkey) to return to the Bluetooth Devices list.

To configure the settings of Bluetooth devices in your list:

1.

Press the Power button, select Wireless Manager and press

.

2.

Highlight the Bluetooth field and press Menu (right softkey) > Bluetooth
Settings
.
