2) The TEXT option cannot be set for Audio CDs. For CD-Extra CDs, you can select the TEXT option when

“CD-EXTRA” is set to “ON.”

3) The item “AUTO” is displayed in the same language that you selected for the “LANGUAGE” - “MENU”

options.

4) AVLS is an abbreviation of the Automatic Volume Limiter System.
5) This function works only for ATRAC CDs.
6) This function does not work for Audio CDs.
7) This function works only for Audio CDs and CD-Extra CDs.

Notes

• Even if “G-PROTECTION” is set to “2,” sound may skip:

– when the CD player receives stronger continuous shock than expected,
– when a dirty or scratched CD is played, or
– for CD-Rs/CD-RWs, when a poor-quality disc is played or there is a problem with the original recording

device or application software.

• Even if “SEAMLESS” is set to “ON,” the tracks may not play continuously depending on how the source

music was recorded.
