Digital Picture Effects
These digital picture effects let you record the
subject with a more dramatic effect.
Type of Digital Picture Effects
B/W:
To record in black-and-white.
SEPIA:
To record in sepia color similar to that
of an old photograph.
MOSAIC:
To record a picture divided up into
tiles.

Set the camcorder to CAMERA mode.

the menu screen appears.

Setting the Confirmation
Sounds
A confirmation sound is made when you turn
on or off the Power switch, press the REC
START/STOP button, or perform other desig-
nated operations. Use the procedure below to
change the type of sound or to turn off the
confirmation sounds altogether.
Type of Confirmation Sound
Settings
CHIME:
A chiming sound is made.
BEEP:
An electronic beeping sound is made.
OFF:
No confirmation sound is made.

• If “OFF” is selected, the sound effect of a
camera shutter closing in PHOTO SHOT mode

Digital picture effects cannot be used when a
still image is displayed.
