Additional TV Features
The Virtual Dolby Surround feature gives you the effect of Dolby Pro Logic without having to connect any external centre or
rear speakers. The surround signals are processed and redirected to the front speakers in order to create the illusion of virtual
centre and rear speakers.

Setting up Virtual Dolby Surround
1. Press the MENU button on the remote control to display
the menu on the TV screen.
2. Press the

buttons to select the
symbol on the
menu screen then press the
b
button to enter the
‘PRESET’ menu.
3. Press the
V
or
v
buttons to select ‘Surround Mode Setup’
on the menu screen then press the
b
button to enter the
‘SURROUND MODE SETUP’ menu.
4. Press the
V
or
v
buttons to select ‘Surround Mode’, then
press the
b
button to enter.
5. Press the
b
or
B
buttons to select Virtual in the display,
then press the OK button.
6. Press the
v
button to select ‘Virtual Effect’, then push the
b
button to enter.
7. Press the
b
or
B
buttons to adjust the Virtual Effect level
until the illusion of being surrounded by the TV sound is
at its most effective.
8. Press the MENU button to remove the display from the
TV screen.
Note: To achieve the maximum effect from Virtual Dolby
Surround, you should sit facing the centre of the TV screen.
