Press . or > repeatedly to select
the desired character.

To enter a blank space

Press CURSOR

t without pressing . or

>. You cannot enter a space as the first
character.

To enter a symbol

You can use the following 24 symbols.

! ” # $ % & ’ ( )

+ , – . / : ; < = > ? @ _ `

Press CURSOR

t.

The character you selected in step 4 stops
flashing and the cursor shifts to the right.

Repeat steps 3 to 5 to complete the
entire title.

If you made a mistake

Press CURSOR

T or t until the character

you want to change flashes, then repeat steps
3 to 5.

To erase a character

Press CLEAR while the character is flashing.
You cannot insert characters.

Press ENTER/YES to complete the
labeling procedure.

The disc title is stored in the system memory
and then the original display appears.

To cancel labeling

Press MENU/NO.

Checking the disc titles

1 Press MENU/NO in stop mode.
2 Press . or > repeatedly until “Name

Check ?” appears, then press ENTER/YES.

3 Press . or > repeatedly to select the disc

titles stored in the system memory between 001
and 050.

To check the current disc title

Press SCROLL in stop mode.

Erasing a disc title

1 Press MENU/NO in stop mode.
2 Press . or > repeatedly until “Name

Erase ?” appears, then press ENTER/YES.

The disc title appears scrolling in the display.

“No Name” appears if no disc title is labeled.

3 Press ENTER/YES again.

“Complete !!” appears and the disc title is
erased.

To cancel erasing

Press MENU/NO during steps 1 and 2.

Erasing all disc titles stored in
the system memory

1 Press MENU/NO in stop mode.
2 Press . or > repeatedly until “All

Erase ?” appears, then press ENTER/YES.

“All Erase ??” appears.

3 Press ENTER/YES again to erase disc titles.

“Complete !!” appears and all disc titles are
erased.

To cancel erasing

Press MENU/NO during steps 1 and 2.

Note

To ensure that disc titles are not erased from memory,
have the system connected to wall outlet at least once
a month.
