The following setup operation is not required if the speakers
provided with KENWOOD system SERIES 21 are used.
The following procedure is necessary when other speakers
than those provided with system SERIES 21 or used or when
you do not want to output sound from speakers.
After “Setup of the speaker sizes and speaker ON/OFF”,
execute the “Setup for surround play” (
fl) again.

Select the speaker setup mode.
Procedure :Press and hold the MODE key for more than 2 seconds.
Press the MULTI. CONTROL LEVEL UP key repeatedly
to switch the setup contents as shown below.
2 Subwoofer ON/OFF setup
3 Front speaker size setup
4 Center speaker size setup
5 Surround speaker size setup
Press the MODE key to abort setup in the middle.
Set up the subwoofer. “SW”
1 Select ON or OFF.
(Press the Down key) (Select icons.)
Each press
changes the
setup.
Each press of the ENTER key switches the Subwoofer as shown below.
SW OFF :Subwoofer Off
SW ON :Subwoofer On
Each press of the MULTI. CONTROL LEVEL DOWN key switches the
Sub Woofer ON and OFF.
÷ When “SW” is set to OFF, “F” is automatically set to “LARGE”.
1 Select LARGE or SMALL.
2 Go to adjustment step “4”.
Set the front speaker size. “F”
Each press of the ENTER key switches the Front speakers as shown below.
F LARGE :Setup for large-sized front speakers
F SMALL :Setup for small-sized front speakers
Each press of the MULTI. CONTROL LEVEL DOWN key switches the
Front speaker size.
÷ When “SW” is set to ON and “F” is set to SMALL, “C” and “S” are
set automatically SMALL even if they have been set to LARGE.
