Accessing Serial Port Options

Setting the Baud Rate

Before transmitting data between the camera and a connected device, you must set the
correct baud rate required by the device. Choose from 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600,
19200, 38400, 57600, and 115200.

Select the Menu icon, then
choose Main Menu from the
dropdown menu (page 2-11).

Select Serial Port from the Main
menu.

The Serial Port menu appears.

Select one of the following:

✔ Baud Rate (page 13-2)

✔ Serial In (page 13-3)

✔ Serial Out (page 13-5)

Select Baud Rate from the Serial
Port menu (page 13-2).

The Baud Rate menu appears.

Select the appropriate baud rate
for the connected device.

The setting is retained until you
change it, or Modem is selected
as the Serial In or Serial Out
mode. When Modem is selected,
baud rate is automatically set to
19200.
