Symptom

The shutter does not
release.

focused. (The in-focus
indicator is blinking in
the viewfinder.

Press the Shutter button
again halfway. If the
subject still cannot be
focused, refer to
“Difficult Subjects for
Autofocus” in Chapter 8.

The PC Card is full

Replace the PC Card or
delete some images

No PC Card in camera

Insert a PC Card

undergone some type of
malfunction.

Remove the battery from
the camera and reload it.

the camera. Take the
camera to your service
representative.

The Frames

Insert a different PC
Card or delete some
images from the PC
Card.

the back LCD panel
shows that the battery
is low.

Battery is low

Recharge the battery,
replace it with a freshly
charged battery, or, if
working indoors, connect
the AC adaptor.
