The Find by Nearest menu will show a "calculating" screen then a list
of the nearest POIs will appear. Press
↓ or ↑ to select the POI you want
and press
ENT
, which will launch the POI Information screen.

4. Search by name of POI. From the Waypoints menu, press

. There are two options: A. You can spell out
the POI in the top selection box. Press
↑ or ↓ to change the first letter,
then press
→ to move the cursor to the next letter and repeat until the
name is correct, then press
ENT

. B. Or Jump down to the lower
selection list by pressing

, then use
↓ or ↑ to select a POI from the
list. Press
ENT
to call up the POI's Waypoint Information screen.
