Audio Reset / TV Speaker / Secondary Audio Program (SAP) Setup

Audio Reset

This option restores the Sound Mode to factory default settings.
1. Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow

navigation keys to select/highlight the AUDIO menu option.
Then, press ENTER.

2. Use the Up/Down arrows to select the Reset option under

Sound Mode, and then press ENTER.

3. At the prompt for confi rmation, select Yes and press ENTER

to continue. The audio settings will be reset immediately,
and you will see a “Resetting audio confi guration...” on-
screen message.

4. Press MENU to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to

return to the previous menu level.

TV Speaker

If using an external audio equipment (a Hi-Fi system or an SRS
system), turn OFF the display panel’s internal speakers. In
AV, Component, RGB, and HDMI with HDMI to DVI cable, the
display panel speaker can be operational even when there is
no video signal.
1. Press MENU on the Installer Remote, and use the arrow

navigation keys to select/highlight the AUDIO menu option.
Then, press ENTER.

2. Use the Up/Down arrows to select the TV Speaker option,

and then press ENTER.

3. In the TV Speaker pop-up window, use the Up/Down arrows

to select On or Off. Then, press ENTER.

4. Press MENU to return to TV viewing, or press RETURN to

return to the previous menu level.

Secondary Audio Program (SAP) Setup

For analog signal: The STB1000 can receive MTS stereo
programs and any SAP that accompanies the stereo program
if the station transmits an additional sound signal. Mono
sound is automatically used if the broadcast is only in Mono.

For digital signal: If other languages are available on the digi-
tal signal, select them using the SAP button on the Installer
Remote.

Press the SAP button on the Installer Remote repeatedly until
the desired option (Mono, Stereo, or SAP) displays on-screen.
