pThe time to stop recording is cancelled; however, recording

continues.

To stop recording partway

The unit sets the best possible picture quality that fits the recording
within the remaining disc space. The recording mode becomes FR
mode. Refer to “FR (Flexible Recording)” (

➡ page 11).

Preparation
pPress [THEATER] to switch the remote control to operate this unit.
pPress [DRIVE SELECT] to select the DVD drive.
pPress [9:CH] to select the channel or press [INPUT] to select the

external input (IN1, IN2 or DV) to record.

While stopped

Press [F Rec].

“Min.” and press [

recording time.

pYou can also set the recording time with the numbered

buttons.

pYou cannot record for more than 8 hours.

When you want to start recording

Recording starts.

To exit the screen without recording
Press [RETURN].

To stop recording partway
Press [

w].

To show the remaining time
Press [STATUS].

pThere is no sound output while searching forward or backward.

To stop play

To stop recording
2 seconds after play stops

To stop scheduled recording
 Press [w] to stop playing.
 After 2 seconds, press [w].
