Program Type (PTY) Display
RDS FM stations provide a program type identification signal.
Example: news, rock, classical music, etc.
[Default: PTY off]
Press [PTY] to switch the PTY mode as follows. (Only for remote con-
trol)
PTY on
PTY off
PTY display mode
The following functions are activated.
PTY is not active.
Note: When PTY is activated, band mode switching can not be per-
formed. If it is necessary to switch the band mode, inactivate PTY.

q Press [[] to change the program type as follows. ([]] : opposite
direction)
