C O N T R O L C H A R A C T E R S
The following characters are reserved and used to assist in printer
control. The printer also provides single byte responses to inform the
host of the printer status.

Signals to the host device that the printer
is in idle mode and the print buffer is
empty.

Backspace
Removes the previous character in the
print buffer.

Advances to the next tab position (from
the following list) or to the beginning of
the next line: 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33,
37.

Line Feed
Advances to beginning of next line.

Vertical Tab
Advances 5 lines.
