Set the

MIC LEVEL control at the front panel

to the minimum level (turn to left) to prevent
acoustic feedback when connecting the
microphone.

Plug in the microphone to the

MIC input.

Load a karaoke disc.

Adjust the

MIC LEVEL control to select the

microphone volume level.

Press

SYSTEM MENU.

The menu bar will appear across the top of

the TV screen.

Use the joystick (1

2) to select

and press

to select Karaoke ON, then press

OK.

Use the joystick (1

2) to select

and press

to select a desired echo level, then press

OK.

2) to select

to select a key level that suits your vocal

range, then press

OK.

Some VCDs or SVCDs are recorded on multiple
audio channels. For example, a Karaoke disc
may record music on the left channel and vocals
on the right channel. To choose an audio
channel, use the joystick (1

2) to select

and

press 4 repeatedly to make your selection.

If you wish to turn off the Karaoke, use the
joystick (1

2) to select

and press 4 to

select Karaoke OFF, then press

OK.

KARAOKE ON/OFF
Select between Karaoke feature on and off.
You must switch on the Karaoke feature before
adjusting the Echo level and key control.

ECHO LEVEL
Adjust the echo level between 0 to +7.

KEY CONTROL
Adjust the key level between -4 to +4, to suit your
vocal range.

PROGRAM
Stop playback, then select this to enter the program
menu (see page 25 "Using the menu bar to program").
