Adjustments and Settings for Recording: Selection of video output signals

The MON OUT connector outputs HD SDI signals or down-
converted analog signals.
Set the video signals output from the MON OUT connector
by using the MONITOR OUT item on the menu (<OUTPUT
SEL> screen on the SYSTEM SETTING page).

The signals output from the MON OUT connector are
switched with the OUTPUT SEL switch.
However, the switching operation is not acknowledged
during the recording operation.

MEM:

During EE, such as recording, video images
taken by the camera are output. Meanwhile,
signals on the P2 card are output during
playback.

CAM:

The camera images are output at all times.

OFF:

No signal is output from the MON OUT
connector.

b. MON OUT OUTPUT SEL switch

Set the characters to be superimposed on the signals output
from the MON OUT connector in the OUTPUT ITEM item on
the menu (<OUTPUT SEL> screen on the SYSTEM
SETTING page).

c. MON OUT CHARACTER switch

Note

When VBS has been selected as the MON OUT signal and
the menu option SYSTEM MODE has been set to “1080-
24PsF” and “720-60P”, the MON OUT signal is luminance
signal video. The menu option SYSTEM MODE can be
found in the <SYSTEM MODE> screen on the SYSTEM
SETTING page.
