Configuring Local Menu options

Changing 2. Language
Use the Language menu item to configure local preferences. Use the
Language tool to select the language used on your phone.
Note: This language setting controls the language used in the local
menus on your phone only. To select the language used by features
on your phone, press the
Services key, select Telephone Options,
and select Language…
To select the language used in the local menus, press the Services key
twice to open the Local tools menu, press the 1 key on the dialpad to
select
1. Preferences , and press the 2 key on the dialpad to select
2. Language.
To select the language used in local menus:
1. Press the Up/Down navigation keys to
scroll and highlight the desired language
(for example, German [Deutsche]).
2. Choose one of the following:
— Press the Select soft key to save the
desired language and return to the
Telephone Options menu.
— Press the Cancel soft key to keep
existing configurations.
3. Press the Exit soft key to exit to the main
display. Changes are saved
automatically.
