ATTENTION
You must have a copy of the backup file to restore.
Shared files for group calls and conferences are not restored with this
procedure.
Step Action
1 Log on to the server as nortel.
2 To become the root user, enter
su - root
3 Enter the password for root.
4 To stop the server processes, enter
/sbin/service sipconf stop
/sbin/service mobilitygw stop
/sbin/service mobilityadmin stop
5 To change to the backup directory, enter
cd /opt/backup
6 Copy the backup file from the off-site location or removable
media to the backup directory.
7 Enter the following commands:
mysql <backup.sql
mysqladmin flush-privileges
8 To start the server processes, enter
/sbin/service sipconf start
/sbin/service mobilitygw start
/sbin/service mobilityadmin start
