As an example of a superloop configuration,

shows eight segments per superloop. If a segment in

this configuration is equipped with analog line cards and trunk cards, a high
concentration environment of 120 timeslots to 128–512 Terminal Numbers
(TNs) is provided. If half of the data TNs on digital line cards are enabled,
this configuration provides a concentration of 120 timeslots to 768 TNs.
