Basic handset operation
Make a call
To make a call:
1. Press the Power On/Start Call key.
You receive a dial tone.
2. Dial the number. Dial calls exactly as
you would with a regular telephone.
You can dial extension numbers,
internal numbers, or make external calls,
depending on your system.
To make a call using a line:

1. Press the Function key and the number
3 key to enter the active (idle) state.
2. Press the Line key and the number key
(1 through 6) for the desired line.
3. Dial the number. Dial calls exactly as
you would with a regular telephone.

depending on your system.
4. Press the Power On/Start Call key.
To make a call using Predial:
1. Dial the number. Dial calls exactly as
you would with a regular telephone.
You can dial extension numbers,
internal numbers, or make external calls,
depending on your system.
2. Press the Power On/Start Call key.
