The server boots and the Press F1 for Configuration/Setup
message appears on the maintenance terminal.
Note: If the server is already up and running, power the server
off and on or press the reset button to reboot and receive the
Press F1 for Configuration/Setup message.

Press F1 to invoke the IBM x306m server Configuration/Setup
Utility.
The Configuration/Setup Utility menu screen appears.

Select the System Security option and press Enter.

Select the Administrator Password option and press Enter.

At this point refer to the manufacturer’s manual for specific
instructions on how to enable or disable the BIOS password.
