INSTALLATION

RIGID PIPE VENTING ARRANGEMENTS - VERTICAL TERMINATIONS

(Propane & Natural Gas)

Vent must be supported at offsets

Maintain clearances to combustibles as listed on page 9.

Firestops are required at each fl oor level and whenever passing through a wall.

Must use optional rigid pipe adaptor when using rigid pipe vent systems (Part# 510-994).

The P121-1/P121LC-1/P121RC-1/P131-1 is approved for a maximum 35 ft. (10.7m) straight vertical, with rigid pipe vent systems for Propane
and Natural Gas, as per diagram 7 below.

IMPORTANT

When installing this unit vertically, the 45

o

elbow when installed in conjunc-

tion with the Rigid Pipe Adaptor will pertrude past the unit 1-1/2" (38mm)
when measured from the rear standoffs.

Note: A 1-1/4" (32mm) clearance from the elbow must also be main-
tained.
