2. Faxing
Placing Originals
Some types of originals are unsuit-
able for the Auto Document Feeder
(ADF), so they must be placed on the
exposure glass or the ADF as shown
in the illustrations.
For details about original types and
how to set original sizes, see Copy Ref-
erence. You cannot use [Special Original
]
under Copy Function. See “Placing
Originals”, Copy Reference.
Note that original sizes that can be au-
tomatically detected differ slightly to
those sizes listed in “Sizes Detectable
by Auto Paper Select”, Copy Reference.
