Calorie Goal Workout

chapter Three: Working Out on the CSX

Calorie

Goal

This workout allows you to burn your choice of calories in a work-

out of your selected duration. The program figures out the correct

workout intensity to burn the right number of calories. Note that this

intensity may too difficult for you if you pick too high a calorie goal.

1. Press preset workouts repeatedly until the display shows

CALORIE GOAL, then press

.

2. Set your desired workout time and press

.

3. Set your calorie goal and press

. If your calorie choice is too

low (the CSX cannot control workloads below a minimum point)

or too high (a workload that is impossible for most

riders), a warning message will appear and you will be

re-prompted to enter a different calorie goal.

4. Press

.

For best results, pedal at 60 rpm or faster. The CSX cannot control

workload as accurately at slower pedaling speeds, so your end

calorie count may not be as accurate.
