Distinctive Ringing
1. Press  to enter User Programming Mode.
2. Press a /LQH button. The Line LED is steady green.
3. Enter the ringing pitch number for incoming trunk calls:
 = Low,  = Middle,  = High,  = Combination
4. Lift the handset to return to idle.

Hold

To place a call on hold, press +ROG . Your LCD shows the line on hold. The held
Line’s LED flashes while appearances of the line at other stations flash red.
• To return to the held call, press the held /LQH .
• If you do not return to the held call within a specified time, it rings back to your
phone. The call remains camped-on to your station indefinitely.
• If the held party hangs up, the call is released.
Note See the Call Pickup section to pick up a call on hold from another extension.
Exclusive Hold
This feature enables you to place a call on hold so that only you can retrieve it.

While on a call, press +ROG twice. That line’s LED flashes while appearances of
the line at other stations are steady red (in use).
Consultation Hold

You place the call on hold by pressing &QI7UQ , then dialing another line, talking
on that line, then transferring or going back to the held call by pressing its /LQH
button.
